Light Reading to launch Mobile Broadband China 2010

 

ShanghaiJuly, 2010, Mobile Broadband China , UBM TechWeb's Light Reading (www.lightreading.com), the largest research-led media company serving the global communications marketplace, in collaboration with Heavy Reading(www.heavyreading.com), its prestigious market research division, will host their first Mobile Broadband China event on July 1st- 2nd in Shanghai, China. Mobile Broadband China, covering the technical and business issues of mobile broadband market, will assemble dozens of industry experts who will discuss the future of the mobile broadband market.

 
 

Mobile Broadband China will be moderated by Heavy Reading analysts and mobile industry experts Gabriel Brown and Patrick Donegan. Brown and Donegan will discuss the current and emerging radio base station technologies, examine the opportunities for Chinese operators to leverage their extensive fiber footprint, and develop perspectives on the prospective ‘collapse’ of the boundaries between the mobile packet core and the backhaul network in the transition to LTE.
